The HURRICANE is a British single seat fighter aircraft of the 1930s-1940s, designed and predominantly built by Hawker Aircraft Ltd for the RAF. The main task of the Hurricane was the confront the German bombers. The Hurricane was renowned during the Battle of Britain for many RAF air victories and accounted for 60% of the RAF air victories in the battle. It served in all the major theatres of the Second World War.
